Life on Earth is being threatened, and the ancient wisdom of THE MAMOS holds the keys to maintaining BALANCE for ALL LIFE on EARTH.

The Elder Brothers have placed out the call to all Younger Brothers and Sisters from around the world to join them in their work of the PROTECTION OF MOTHER EARTH. THE SACRED SITES are essential to MOTHER EARTH'S WELL BEING and life's continuance, for they hold the information and special energies for LIFE to maintain its natural order and balance.

Our Mission

To protect, reclaim, restore & regenerate the sacred sites of the Black Line in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta

Our Goal

To raise $1.5 million USD to purchase one of the four most important sacred sites for the Mamos of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Colombia. This special piece of land is 1480 acres (599 hectares).

Our Strategy

Ensure effective protection of existing wilderness

Apply the Arhuaco Community tradition of dedicating 70 % of the territory for preservation and 30 % for use.
Work on conserving critical ecosystems such as the tropical dry forest (one of the most threatened ecosystems in Colombia and of which only eight percent remains).
Strengthen the protection of more than 51 endemic species that live in the Sierra and are in danger of extinction due to the destruction of the forest at the foothills of the Sierra.
Prevent gold exploitation in this zone and other surrounding areas.
Rescue this area from the pressure to grab land, illicit crops, livestock, and other problems with a negative impact on the area.
