Our Mission
Welcome to the M.O.T.H.E.R Project
The M.O.T.H.E.R Project aims to reclaim, restore, regenerate and protect the sacred sites of the Black Line of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia
Our activities involve:
- Fundraising to purchase one of the 4 Primary Sacred Sites of The Black Line (a ring of 354 sacred sites) that surrounds and protects the Heart of the World.
- Fundraising for sponsorship for The Mamo Pilgrimages to the Sacred Sites - Sponsorships for the transportation and meals for a larger group of Mamos to do pilgrimages to Sacred Sites of the Black Line for the purpose of restoration via the making of pagamentos (spiritual payments).
- Fundraising to support the education of new Mamos, young Arhuaco Boys - To ensure the Mamo lineage flourishes to provide the service work and carries the wisdom for protection and balance of Mother Earth.
- The M.O.T.H.E.R Project Journeys to the Arhuaco Communities, in the Sierra - for M.O.T.H.E.R Project meetings and spiritual pilgrimages with the Mamos for the purpose of restoration of the energy lines of the Earth.
- Collaborating with the Arhuaco Mamos via listening to the Mamos' wisdom & working in The M.O.T.H.E.R Project, via the guidance of the Mother Earth and the Mamos.
- Organising the Mamo’s Webinars - Live Connection - Bridging the Arhuaco Mamos' wisdom and blessings with people around the world.
- Spreading the Messages of The M.O.T.H.E.R Project, and Mamos to people throughout the world.
- Become an Emissary of The M.O.T.H.E.R Project. Creating a world service team of support for the Mamos and The M.O.T.H.E.R Project's Campaigns.
The M.O.T.H.E.R Project is a joint project created through the love and collaboration of the Arhuaco Mamos from the communities of Jimain, Simonorwa, Kanuteti & Seykwinkuta of the Arhuaco Resguardo (Indigenous Reservation), and 2 non-profit organisations:

All financial contributions, sponsorships, and donations made to The M.O.T.H.E.R Project will be received by THE GREAT BALANCE, through a legal pathway. The funds will allow the purchase of land, goods, services for the Mamos pilgrimages and establishment of the Education Program of the New Mamos, following the wishes expressed by sponsors and donators. The Great Balance will purchase the Sacred Site and donate it to the Arhuaco Resguardo, with all conditions and guarantees to serve the Mission of The M.O.T.H.E.R Project.
The Great Balance works with a professional team of bookkeepers, accountants, lawyers, and bankers, in Colombia and the USA to ensure clarity, responsibility and transparency within all matters in The M.O.T.H.E.R Project. A portion of the funds will pay all costs the Great Balance may incur in providing the professional services, travel expenses and management of the activities related to The M.O.T.H.E.R Project. There are no wages drawn from The M.O.T.H.E.R Project for the work of the Service team from The Great Balance or The Divine University.
